Alexandra-Yoana Alexandrova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1992 and grew up in Germany. After graduating from Danish high school with a music and arts profile, she moved to Vienna, Austria, for further education. From 2014-2018 she studied musical entertainment theater at the "MUK - Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna" and at the same time she studied for a master's degree in theater, film and media science at the University of Vienna, after her bachelor's degree in 2014 with a co-enrollment at the "University of Applied Arts Vienna" in film direction and dramaturgy. Before that, she had studied acting for a year at the "Krauss Drama School" and passed the acting diploma exam at the joint Examination Committee of the Vienna Theater Union in June 2016. 

She comes from an artistic family, mother an opera singer and father a ballet dancer, and is therefore very versatile in her profession: singing, musicals, theater, dance, modeling, dubbing, dramaturgy, songwriting and photography/video. She works with various agencies such as "Actors & Company" as a Model and Actress in the film, television and advertising industries and is represented in the musical industry by "Diabelli Management." 

She has played in the following theaters, among others: Stage Palladium Theater Stuttgart, Wiener Staatsoper ("CARMEN"), Schleswig-Holstein State Theater ("SUGAR - SOME LIKE IT HOT"), State Opera and Ballet Sofia ("LAKMÉ"), Schauspielhaus Wien ("THE EVENTS"), Theater der Jugend ("GRIMM"), Schlossfestspiele Langenlois ("THE BIRD SELLER"), Felsenbühne Staatz ("ARTUS-EXCALIBUR", "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR"), Det Lille Teater Flensborg ("EDITH PIAF" ).

She has played in several short and feature films (including a small role in the feature films "WOMAN IN GOLD" and "Une femme à abattre") and acted in the music videos of various pop artists.

On television she was seen in "WIEN - TAG & NIGHT" on ATV and in 2021 she was the singing ballerina in "i CAN SEE YOUR VOICE" (season 2) on RTL. She also shot several TV-/commercials such as "KIKA", "LIBRO", "YESSS" and "BIPA". 

She has also been booked as a singer for various events, such as e.g. as a soloist for a concert in front of the the Danish Crown Prince Couple and the musical "DIE SCHNEEKÖNIGIN" she played in Schleswig for the Danish Queen Margrethe II in the title role. She was on tour in New York City as a soloist with the Lyspiger Choir. She has also done several internships as an assistant director for various productions in the theater and film industry internationally, such as e. g. in the National Theater "Ivan Vazov" Sofia. At the same time, she taught classical ballet and hip-hop/modern dance for young people in Flensburg and began to work as a vocal-coach in Germany and Austria.

In 2020, she won a gold medal in acting, silver in singing and bronze in modeling at "the World Championships of Performing Arts Virtual - Hollywood LA". In 2016 she won the first prize at the "Walter Jurmann Singing and Interpretation Competition". 

Most recently she sang in concerts such as "WE ARE MUSICAL - THE NEXT GENERATION" at the Ronacher Theater VBW and "ZIEMLICH GUTE FREUNDE" with Mark Seibert and Lukas Perman at the Raimundtheater VBW. 

Her last engagements were at the Stage Palladium Theater in Stuttgart (Stage Entertainment) in the productions "ANASTASIA - Das Musical" (cover Anja and Cross Swing) 2018 and "GHOST" 2019. In 2020 without the pandemic-related Cancellation, she would have played Rosalia in "WEST SIDE STORY" at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. In 2020 she shot the TV commercial for "HSE 24" in Estonia and recorded the singing voice for the TV spot for "PENNY Markt Österreich". in 2021 at the Theater Ulm she played 1. Cast Mina in the musical "DRACULA". Since autumn 2021 she plays the understudy/1. cover of the role Ellen in the musical "Miss Saigon" at the Raimundtheater, Vereinigte Bühnen Wien - VBW. From September 2022 she will be playing 1. Cast Ulla in "THE PRODUCERS" in Det Ny Teater, Kopenhagen (DK) and in February 2023 1. Cast Ellen in "MISS SAIGON" at the same theatre. In the Saisons 2023-2025 she is employed for 8 musical productions as a  Soloist at the "Landestheater Linz". In the summer of 2024, she will play the first cast of Mary Poppins in the musical "Mary Poppins" at the Thunerseepspiele - her debut in Switzerland.

Art is her Path and she dares to walk on it focussed straight forward.
